Question 1

What is GeoFares?

Accepted Answer

GeoFares is a flight search engine that compares airline pricing across available country markets. Free checks 3 key markets for a route; Pro expands that comparison to 50+ countries when new enrollment is available.

Question 2

Is GeoFares a travel agency?

Accepted Answer

No. GeoFares is a price comparison tool. When you find a fare you like, we redirect you to a trusted booking partner to complete the reservation.

Question 3

Is this legal?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Comparing publicly available flight prices across different markets is perfectly legal. You're simply choosing where to purchase your ticket.

Question 4

Do I need a VPN?

Accepted Answer

No. Our booking partners handle the market routing for you. You book normally through their site.

Question 5

Is there a free plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The free plan includes unlimited searches, comparison across the top 3 most likely geo-arbitrage markets for your route, and 3 active price alerts. No credit card required.

Question 6

What does Pro include?

Accepted Answer

When new enrollment is available, Pro includes unlimited searches across 50+ countries, up to 20 active price alerts, AI-powered flight insights, weekly deal digest emails, price history charts, and priority support for $5/month through Stripe.

Question 7

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

GeoFares plans to offer a 7-day free trial to eligible new Pro subscribers when enrollment reopens. New Pro enrollment is temporarily paused. During a trial, you can cancel before it ends and won't be charged; after it ends, the subscription renews monthly until you cancel.

Question 8

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Subscription and click Cancel — no email, no phone call, no retention hoops. You keep Pro access through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Question 9

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

You're never charged again after cancelling, and you keep access for the period you paid for. Refunds for partial billing periods are handled per our Terms of Service. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us and we'll sort it out.

Question 10

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay — processed securely through Stripe. Your card details never touch our servers.

Question 11

How does geo-arbitrage work?

Accepted Answer

Airlines set different prices for the same flight depending on the country of sale. For example, a flight from London to New York might cost $800 when booked from the UK but only $520 when booked from India. We search all these markets simultaneously to find the lowest price.

Question 12

How many countries do you search?

Accepted Answer

Free compares 3 key markets for a route. Pro expands the comparison to 50+ countries across major regions when new enrollment is available.

Question 13

How accurate are the prices?

Accepted Answer

Prices are sourced from flight APIs in real-time and are approximate. The final price is always confirmed on the booking partner's site before you pay — it may differ slightly due to currency fluctuations, taxes, or availability changes. If a fare no longer exists, the partner will show you the current one before you commit.

Question 14

How much can I save?

Accepted Answer

Savings vary by route, travel date, country market, and availability. A cheaper fare is not guaranteed. Compare the available prices and confirm the final fare and booking conditions on the partner's site before paying.

Question 15

What data do you collect?

Accepted Answer

We collect your email, search queries, and preferences to provide the service. Payment data is handled securely by Stripe. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Question 16

How do I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

Go to Dashboard → Settings and use the 'Delete Account' option. This permanently removes your personal data within 30 days. You can also email contact@geofares.com and we'll handle it for you.

Question 17

Do you sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
